An Israeli court yesterday extended the detention of Palestinian cartoonist Mohammad Saba'aneh, who has been held since Saturday without charge or access to his lawyer, according to news reports. The Committee to Protect Journalists calls on authorities to immediately release the political cartoonist and allow him access to his lawyer. The military court extended Saba'aneh's detention for nine days, the Palestinian Center for Development and Media Freedoms (MADA) told CPJ. Israeli authorities said they were investigating the cartoonist for providing services to unspecified "hostile organizations," according to Saba'aneh's employer, the Palestinian daily Al-Hayat al-Jadida, which cited the cartoonist's lawyer. Saba'aneh works as a political cartoonist for Al-Hayat al-Jadida, and has depicted imprisoned Palestinians in his most recent cartoons. بالاخره یک نسخه از کتاب نفیس "طرح ها و روایت ها" به دستم رسید، از اینکه در این پروژه دعوت شدم و "دیده شدم" خوشحالم و از نیک آهنگ کوثر تشکر ویژه می کنم، اما با دیدن کارم در کنار مقاله ای از سوسن تسلیمی با لهجه گیلکی ذوق کردم و خوشحال تر شدم! دست امید معماریان، هادی قائمی و کمپین بین المللی حقوق بشر در ایران و همه کاریکاتوریست های شرکت کننده در این پروژه درد نکنه. Finally I received one copy of "Sketches of Iran" on the opening day of my expo, a great book about human rights issues made by International Campaign for Human rights in Iran, edited by a nice friend Omid Memarian. special thanks to Nik Ahang Kowsar, the great Iranian cartoonist and journalist.

For the third time it happened to me again and this time in Le Monde newspaper! My cartoon (the one on the right side) has been created on 19 September 2012 and has been published in many online media, including PRI The World, my blog, facebook and among Tunisians! and the cartoon on the left side with the name of the Cheldy Belkhamsa has been published Today! tell me which one is Original and which one is...?! and what can we do to stop some "cartoonist" not to steal another one's idea?
