Charia Hebdo!

The offices of a French satirical magazine burned early Wednesday morning, the day it was due to publish an issue with a cover appearing to make fun of Islamic law.
The cover of the magazine, Charlie Hebdo, has a bearded and turbaned cartoon figure saying "100 lashes if you're not dying of laughter."

Encore une fois des individus mis face à leurs contradictions n'ont rien trouvé de mieux que de se ridiculiser en faisant une publicité monstrueuse à Charlie. Quand on a plus d'arguments on utilise la violence, c'est bien connu.

I am French abroad, a regular reader of Charlie Hebdo, and Im not surprised this issue is being the most successful ever. This issue was no more disrespectful as usual, quite funny to be honest, and they draw Mohammet VERY often.
I am also surprised not many newspaper reporting the story are also showing the actual cover.
I strongly recommend an image Google search of Charlie hebdo to get a taste of what the covers are usually like.
